LISTEN ON MP3 PLAYER

If you have never listened to podcasts before, you must follow these three steps to get easily started:

1 Download software

"You need some software to be able to transport your podcasts from podhead.dk to your computer and from here to your pod. The most commonly used software is iTunes and Podnova which can be found both for PC, Mac and Linux. The software is free of charge and can easily be downloaded. If you wish to explore other software products you can find a comprehensive list here.

2 Get the podcast

If the teaser gives you appetite or if you have decided for subscribing without listening to the teaser, you should subscribe to podcasts that you are interested in. Once you have subscribed to the requested podcasts, your software will automatically get new episodes of the podcasts, which you have subscribed to. This means that your pod will always be filled with the newest podcasts from podhead.dk. The only thing you need to do is to connect your pod with the PC/Mac - then your pod and computer will synchronize without your interference. You can always unsubscribe to podcasts and subscribe to new at any time. No matter how many podcasts you subscribe to, they are free of charge.

How to subscribe to a podcast:
    Right-click the "RSS Feed" button snd select "Copy link" (on Mac you must hold down the Ctrl key when clicking the button to open the popup menu).
  • Go to your software and paste the link
  • "If you use iTunes software, click on "Advanced" and select "Subscribe to podcast". Then you will get a pop-up window, and here you paste the RSS link from podhead.net. If there is an iTunes button on the page you can just click that instead.
  • If you use Juice software, click on the green cross. Then the pop-up window appears and you can paste the RSS link from podhead.name

3 Maybe setup the podcast-software

Some podcast programs must be setup to be able to automatically transfer the podcasts to your pod. iTunes will automatically identify when you connect your iPod to your computer and transfer new podcasts to your iPod. Other programs may need some setup, depending on what pod you are using.
